SUMMER POP UP BARS LONDON

Over the course of the summer, you may be overwhelmed by the bars on offer in London. It’s hard to decipher which ones to rock up to. This June, we’ve got our taste buds set on three favourites that are fresh on the drinks scene. Whether you’re looking for a rootop, roped off area, or a party in full swing – there is something here for you.

LOVE BAR SOUTHBANK CENTRE

Spread the love this summer, with the “Love Bar” based at London’s festival village, Southbank Centre.

There is a continuous theme of “youth culture” and nostalgia that runs through their snack food and drinks offering. You’ll find the treats include old school snacks, sweets, and fizzy pop alongside craft beers from Camden Brewery and creative cocktail combinations such as “Peanut-butter & Jam Old fashioned” and  a “Bees Wax” infused aperitif, courtesy of Aske Stephenson, a collective of visionary mixologists from Mile End, East London.

Cast your mind back to your school pack lunches, the world of food swapping, sharing and experimentation, where imagination runs wild and anything goes.  Try a variety of Crisp Sandwich combinations, Pot Noodles, Cheese Toasties and ‘old school’ delectable confectionary. Then combine this with the one thing you couldn’t have –alcoholic beverages – and delicious ones at that!

Love Bar is nestled within the ground floor multi-coloured pillars of Queen Elizabeth Hall at The Southbank Centre – a unique bar experience you can’t afford to miss this summer, head on down for friendly service and fun vibes, with all the bells and whistles!

WHEN: Sunday to Wednesday 12 to 8pm, and 12 till 11pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

CÎROC AT THE LONDON RIVIERA

Everyone is rambling on about that epic rooftop in London. We are set design lovers, so it doesn’t matter what height we are drinking at. More London Riverside has been transformed into a luxury tropical food and drink experience with the arrival of Cîroc at London Riviera. Situated on the Southbank by Tower Bridge, the space evokes the atmosphere of a boutique festival, right in the heart of the city – becoming the ultimate luxury hang-out to enjoy stunning sundown views of the Thames.

The five-month boutique pop up, has been created by Nick Zuppar and his team at The Food Firm.  Inspired by the tropical vibes of Cuba, the chilled Miami beachside and the chic French Riviera, the riverside hub is brought together by renowned Hollywood set designer, Sonja Klaus (known for her work on American Gangster, Gladiator and Robin Hood). Decked out with palm trees, luxurious day-beds, giant pineapples and pink flamingos, Cîroc at London Riviera will be a fabulously frivolous after-work meeting spot or a chilled weekend hang-out.

In addition, The Cîroc School of Mixology masterclasses will be taking place in the exotic hideaway every Wednesday evening, inviting guests to learn the artistry behind creating the tropical CÎROC Summer Punch. Cocktails aside, there will also be a range of pressed juices, craft beers and organic Cru Kafe, making it the perfect destination for after-work and weekend social gatherings.

WHEN: 1st June – 31st October, 8am – 10pm daily
