Vintage inspired brand Wildfox Couture was set up by friends Emily Faulstich and Kimberley Gordon. Interestingly musician Jimmy Sommers is the CEO and president of the team. This is the first time we have heard of a musical expert running a brand rather than appearing as the face or music that inspires the designs. Based in Los Angeles, Wildfox rapidly received attention from stylists and celebrities across the nation. A very fun youthful brand. Watch their film “Even Cowgirls Get The Blues”, young teens and twenty somethings can identify with one or more of their characters. Their lookbook video is a modern style western with attitude.
Many brands have taken inspiration from Palm Springs. We have featured a number of videos with this setting. Coachella is still in the air !
