CHANEL HAUTE COUTURE SHOW – PARIS 2013

Allow us to introduce the most spectacular fashion show setting to come from the Grand Palais. The very unique atmosphere and enchanted scenery sold us Chanel’s collection (assuming we can afford it). Karl Largefeld is famous for his stunning art direction, which is no doubt enhanced throughout couture fashion week to suit the intricate detail of his designs. What makes this setting is the filming that captures the height of its location. We felt as if we’d been transported to a fairytale forest for the afternoon. This backdrop was a dreamy open air theatrical runway. The eye makeup was both minimal and dramatic, we love how modern his couture collection is. Husky mellow music by Andy Stott was sandwiched with a classical medley from the Charles Munch Paris Orchestra. If you look closely then you can catch Rita Ora and Anna Wintour on the front row.
