Somewhere between a Hong Kong basement space, a late Paris night, and a Tokyo street that never really switches off, this collaboration sits in transit. A. SOCIETY and Maison Kitsuné aren’t just merging aesthetics, they’re kind of tracing a route. One that might move through cities, scenes, and the people in between.
The eyewear itself is clean, almost restrained, they are architectural frames that don’t try too hard, but still hold presence. Made in Japan, precise, considered. The kind of piece that makes more sense the longer you wear it. But is it about the frames as well as what they carry.
Accessories, necklaces, pendants tend to shift the collection into something more personal. Less styled, more lived-in and real. Like objects you accumulate over time rather than something you buy all at once.
And wow then there’s the packaging…..
Each piece arrives like a message, they are postcard-coded, stamped with traditional Chinese chops. Not branding, but stunning markers. Signals of where something’s been. And what is even cooler is that one in ten carries a rare seal, turning it into something closer to a find than a purchase.
Limited to 200 pieces, it doesn’t feel exclusive in the usual way. More like a moment and something tied to a place, a time, a feeling.
Available March 18.
