The Bee Gees – Vogue Fashion Awards 1996

Sunday the 20th of May 2012 marked a sad day for British music. Bee Gee singer, Robin Gibb passed away, aged 62 after his battle with cancer. The Bee Gee brothers, were an exceptional trio from Manchester that set off a musical hype in 1977. Maurice (Robin’s twin) passed away in 2003. The band are remembered for their high pitched soulful voices, not forgetting their tight shirts and glamourous trousers. Some might say they kick started a metrosexual fashion revolution in the 70’s. Their song “Stayin alive” was the soundtrack to film, “Saturday Night Fever.” See John Travolta embody the perfect music and fashion era in the opening credits to “Saturday Night Fever.”
