Ibiza’s clubs go out loud. The 2026 closing season runs from late September through 12 October, with the island’s biggest venues throwing their longest, most star-studded parties of the year before it goes quiet until spring. Here’s what’s actually soundtracking the send-off, and the playlist to go with it.
UNVRS Closes Its Second Season
UNVRS, the rebuilt superclub on the site of the old Ku/Privilege, wraps its sophomore season with production-heavy showcases across the first weekend of October. Carl Cox’s Sunday residency, running every week since 21 June, closes on 4 October with an all-night set. David Guetta follows with his own closing performance on 2 October, complete with new visual production and a surprise guest.
The season hasn’t been without drama. A power outage at UNVRS left hundreds of clubbers stranded for hours and forced the cancellation of John Summit’s “Experts Only” event after technical issues hit the venue, a reminder that even the island’s newest, most tech-forward superclub isn’t immune to a bad night.
The Big Weekend: Hï, Amnesia, Ushuaïa and Pacha
The heaviest cluster of closings lands across one long weekend. Hï Ibiza closes first, on Friday 9 October. Amnesia, UNVRS, Ushuaïa, and Pacha all follow with flagship closing parties on 10 and 11 October, five major venues signing off within 48 hours of each other.
Amnesia’s closing run doubles as the finale of its 50th anniversary season, including Glitterbox’s first-ever Amnesia closing on 9 October and a sun-to-sun Closing Festival the following day. Ushuaïa’s open-air stage says goodbye to Calvin Harris’s residency and David Guetta’s “F*** Me I’m Famous” nights across the same stretch. Pacha’s Grand Closing Weekend leans on house and tech-house residents, Roger Sanchez, PAWSA, and MK among them.
Circoloco at DC-10: The Last Word
The season’s traditional final word belongs to Circoloco at DC-10 on Monday 12 October, the 27th year of the party and, for many, the most emotionally charged night on the island’s calendar.
