After releasing the quietly devastating tracks “Maybe You” and “Julian” the deliciously melancholic Say Lou Lou release their debut single on Columbia Records, ‘Better In The Dark’, on 30th December. ‘Better in the Dark’ comes as a double A-side accompanied with a stunning b-side ‘Beloved’.
Say Lou Lou are 22 year old Swedish/Australian twin sisters Miranda and Elektra Kilbey and they are currently finishing off their self-written debut album which has been recorded in London, Sweden and Los Angeles. The album will be released early in 2014.
Directed by Magnus Härdner, the brand new video for ‘Better in the Dark’ explores the bands’ darker side and comes across like a fantastically stylish b-movie; almost like an alternate take on Twin Peaks crossed with The Shining…
