We first fell in love with Fyfe after his debut soundcloud shares last year. This latest release was originally his breakout track under the Fyfe alias, Paul Dixon originally mailed ‘Solace’ out to press himself- without manager, label etc- and ended up with one of the most-blogged about tunes of the year (kicking off a run of HypeM-topping tracks for Paul, which has seen his Soundcloud eclipse 1 million plays), so there’s a nice sense of coming full-circle with the track’s official release & accompanying visuals.
Original tracks no longer get lost in the infancy of their release and can now become noticed by the masses. His true fans will feel a sense of fulfilment now that Fyfe has reignited the love. Put him in the same room as Sohn and we wouldn’t know what to do!
