GLASS ANIMALS DEJA VU | TRACK OF THE DAY

Well we are most certainly experiencing some ‘Deja Vu,’ since Glass Animals have been awarded our ‘Track of the Day’ many times before.

However, their sounds just keeps on getting better and this track hints at what to expect from their third studio album. It has been described as a ‘booty call’ anthem. One which most millennials can relate, those in particular who are prone to a late night dm slide to an ex, whilst already knowing the consequences.

Dave from GA sums it all up very nicely, “I think we’ve all found ourselves in fucked up relationships that make us feel sad and helpless. Not necessarily something romantic—maybe it’s with a family member or a friend. A relationship that we know on some level is going to keep breaking our hearts. We let that person back into their lives over and over again, even though it always ends the same.

Well in some respects people do cling on to sadness, they strangely crave ultimately ‘addicted to chaos’ without realising. So try and snap out of it if you recognise that bit of relationship ‘Deja Vu!’

Enjoy the track, it definitely puts a spin on the heartbreak tracks we are used to hearing. We are also quite content with the follow up of shockwave hit “Tokyo Drifting” feat. Denzel Curry.
